Contractors pay particular attention to cleaning pedestrian zones and removing snow.

In Perm, contracting organizations continue to clean streets and sidewalks from snow and ice. Over the past week, more than 240 units of equipment and over 140 road workers worked daily on city streets during daylight hours, while at night more than 250 units of equipment and over 100 workers were engaged. A total of more than 100 thousand cubic meters of snow was transported out of the city, including 600 cubic meters from the territory of “Arsenal” residential complex, 800 cubic meters from “Gulliver” residential complex, and more than 2 thousand cubic meters from “Pogoda” residential complex. Residents of these houses submitted the largest number of requests. Work in these areas is planned to be completed by the end of the current week.

Since December 2025, contractors have transported more than 572 thousand cubic meters of snow from Perm’s street network.

Today, approximately 240 units of special equipment and 134 workers are operating on the streets of Perm. At night, if necessary, the number of equipment and workers will be increased.

Special attention is paid to cleaning up roads, sidewalks, bus stops, stairs, pedestrian zones, slopes, and ascents, as well as routes of public transport, difficult sections of roads, and intersections. All this is done to prevent the formation of ice.

It should be remembered that it is impossible to immediately clean up streets from snow and remove it due to heavy traffic flow throughout the day and parked cars along the roads. Therefore, road workers first carry out patrol cleaning and push snow to the shoulders, then transport it to landfills at night and clean parking pockets. Contractors are given from three to five days to transport snow.
